On Hiatus
As you've probably noticed, the update schedule for the blog has gone to hell.I'm not sure what's going on, but I just don't feel like writing these nights. I'm usually dropping tired or just can't find the words to write.
That doesn't mean the blog is ending. Far from it.
I just need to get back into the swing of things.
I think the problem started with the schedule as I set it. I wanted to update everyday and I think I'm just getting a little burnt out.
For the next little while at least, the update schedule will be erratic. I'll write when the mood strikes me and when it's something that I think is worth you reading. That might be ten times a week or two.
I'm not sure yet.
Anyway, if you check back occasionally, I'm sure you'll often find something new to read. I just need a little time to find the spark that made me love writing these stories.
There will be a fan pack this month, and I'm going to channel alot of my effort into it. I'm going to try to have four exclusive stories, as well as a special article on the real inspiration for writing this blog in the first place.
No. This is not a goodbye. I just need a little break.
Stop crying.

Just found out about this blog a few days ago and have already devoured the whole archives :)
Even though I don't play FFXI, I have played MMORPGs before and find your blog hilarious and very true to life, unfortunately.

Well I imagine daily updates on two blogs would get exhausting and you do an amazing job. I will keep up my daily watch in hopes that you'll feel inspired soon. Your blog was one of the things that inspired me to try my own and I've had so much fun doing it. Thanks. Breakfast won't be the same without you.
As much as I can totally understand why a break is necessary I feel a little sad knowing that I will not have frequent stories to read. Bannable Offences is one site that I look forward to checking when I get to work and it never fails to put a smile on my face. I am glad that you are continuing with the stories and I can't wait to read the next one, whenever that may be.

I was a first time reader about a week ago. Someone linked me to you through a forum I go to, and I read. And read. And read some more. In that first visit, I went through your entire archives. It's all awesome and thoroughly addictive stuff. And though it made me miss university the next day (I was reading till about 4 in the morning, as I was trying to do an essay at the same time, biiiiig mistake) it was very much worth it.
I hope your Thanksgiving was good, and that you have an excellent Christmas and New Year.

I say a break is in order, but droping it entirely may be worse.
If you could try to squeese out say one post a weak, that will keep you idle without burning out like this again. and you have up to a week to work on it.
