Okay, there's still some time left for some of you.

If you haven't voted yet, get off your ass and go.

Now.

Right now.

I don't care if you're camping Mee Deggi.

He'll understand.

All kidding aside, this is the one chance you get to have your voice heard. If you don't take this opportunity, then someone else will take it for you.

Did you vote for me?

Of course not. I'm an evil dictator.

Now, any time I choose, I can log in and turn your character into so much digital ruin and dragon kibble.

Don't you wish you had been given the chance to vote?

No, you're answer doesn't really matter. I'm still going to be a dictator tomorrow.

As a matter of fact, I wrote down the names of everyone who nodded when they read that question.

You'll DEFINITELY see me tomorrow.

Seriously, if you haven't voted, then you should. The game will wait.

Here... Look, I just hit pause.

You've got time.

I'll make a sandwich and we'll play in a little while.

...

What are you waiting for?

GO!

Note: If you are not actually in America, then this post probably didn't mean very much to you. It may not even have been funny.

For you, I give you one of my favorite jokes:

Two drums and a set of cymbals fell off a cliff...

Bah dump psshhhh

...

Oh shut up. That was funny.

I'm not American, but I'm in America.
Did you get one of those I voted stickers?

But... you mean I wrote "[GM] Dave" where it told me to for nothing?

Don't I at least get a cookie before you vaporize my several years of hard work?

I voted on the Canadian election day. The guy I wanted to win won. Same with the American election, except I didn't get a chance to vote. Actually, no. Obama was my second choice. THIS is the guy I wanted to win:

For some reason I just imagined an "All new and improved" [GM]Dave that gives out cookies to every player, then requests that the player eats the cookie which then magically triggers a visit to Jormy, after all you can't have your cookie and eat it too...

I had fully intended to vote.

But I had forgotten that my voter registration was out of date. Oh well, my candidate won anyway. Plus, I live in Nebraska, which is HEAVILY Republican, so I likely wouldn't have helped. Last I checked, McCain won our state 57%-40%. Yes, I realize the stats are off, blame the paper I read this morning.

I voted. I got a sticker. I was standing behind an old guy for 45 minutes who kept hawking loogies into his handkerchief. It was unpleasant.

I voted for Jormy. Jormy didn't win the electoral college vote, or the popular vote, but I'm pretty sure whenever Jormy's ready, it'll just eat the president-elect. Problem solved. That's what I like about Jormy: that's a dragon that doesn't sit around and wait for things to happen.

Jormy For President! '09!

I loved that rimshot joke when GoblinSmithy told it, and I still love it now. ;-)

I'm also easily amused. I find life is easier to deal with when everything is funny.

*Gasp* [GM]Dave encouraging people to vote? Honestly, that's a bit surprising.

While everyone has the right to vote, that doesn't mean that they should. Only vote if you know what you're voting on.

All hail the first African-American President of the United States Of America!

*ahem*... Everyone else should know that [GM] Dave should have won, regardless of whether he ran for Prez or not.

I got a sticker for voting early. I wanted a sticker that said I voted for Obama. But the old lady wouldn't give me one...
Damn her...

I'm with you, my daughter is 2 yrs old and loves that show. What was wrong with the 80's Transformer, M.A.S.K., Centurions and Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, oh and He Man ! At least they had a story and a moral at the end. Children's tv today makes me want to cry, but like you said, it's keeps them quiet. Pity by the time she reaches 18 she will be utterly brain dead!
