Yeah, yeah. Where the hell have I been?I know.
I've been working on something that I kind of wanted to keep under wraps, but I think you guys at least deserve an explanation as to why my update schedule has been absolutely retarded lately.
*ahem*
I'm writing a book.
Okay... I'm trying to write a book.
I'm probably going to get sick of it and throw it in a drawer somewhere the first time I see something shiny, but I'm still in that "everything seems so freaking brilliant" phase, so I want to get as much done as I can before that happens.
This is what happens when I get retarded about something.
Things will get back to normal soon. I swear.
Or I'll start taking Ritalin.
Whatever.

I think I'd buy that book! Well at least I'd borrow it from the library <.< I have a novel addiction and I can't afford it as it is hehe.
I'd definitely download the electronic copy of that book. I may even pay for it.
But really, good luck with it. And remember, no matter how bad you think it might be, Twilight got published. There's hope for anyone.

Oh if its about being a GM you should include some pictures of your work place, and other areas of importance!
As someone 20,000 words into his own book, I wish you luck. If you want advice, don't let yourself take a "short break" from writing. That can quickly become an indefinite break.
at least we'd have something to read when LFP :)

All we know how to read is short posts. Anything longer than 1.76 screen pages will be ignored by 98% of the fanbase. The other 2% just got nothing better to do....well...excpet maybe gounging their eyes with views of the latest Bleach episode.....
Leut, your comment was way too long. I got distracted and alt-tabbed to something else before I finished, so I'm just going to assume that you're saying that the book is a great idea. I know that I'd buy it, if it was something interesting, given Dave's hilarious writing style.

Ever heard of NaNoWriMo? I *was* writing my own novel too. I got about 10,000 words in... and stopped dead. I but then I participated in NaNoWriMo and got to 50,000 words in one month! Quite awesome.
Best thing I can tell you right now is to just keep going and don't edit anything you've written until you finish the first draft. In fact, don't even go back and read anything or else you'll start nitpicking it for hours.
I was considering participating in NaNoWriMo, but had too much else on my plate at the time. cool idea, tho
Dave, we await the awesomeness that will be your book.
Get someone to make an audio book of it and I'm game. How else do you think I get though exp/merit, sky, sea, dynamis, farming......
Also, someone mentioned him righting the porn script. That's the problem with most porn, they try to put too much of a story. at least when dealing with real people. It's hard finding people who can act but are also willing to do so half (if not completely) nude and doing what needs to be done.
At least the hentai market has a larger selection since it's just voice actors and it doesn't matter how they look as long as they can moan into a microphone...
Not that I'd know anything about that....
